The Beginning:
A life of one person cannot be defined in their face, in their eyes... but what they are willing to do and what they have accomplished as a fellow human walking on this earth...I guess I sound a bit too deep... Well I believe in explaining who I am, I would have to start where I come from which is a beautiful island in the Indian Ocean called Sri lanka...
Its vast culture and lust vegetation is my first inspiration to my artistic work and poetry. I don't really remember my childhood days...only a couple of years, enjoying walking in the woods, sitting by the quite rivers on our trips and spending my time with my two best cousins, Roshan and Eroshana. God, they were kind of like my own brothers, always there when I needed them. Those moments of my life will always be treasured... I guess as a child we don't have the pressures and stress of the reality of life, we are living in our own world.

For those seven years of my life, my dad was abroad here in Bahrain, so I grew more attached to my mother, we were the best of friends, she is my diary, my inspiration and of course my teacher in life and Buddhism. By the time I came here to Bahrain, I was seven. I remember stepping off the plane and coming to this weird world, but by time... I was okay with it... Now its been 14yrs now..and I have a younger brother and getting in to the wheel of living.
My Inspirations:
Well I started to paint when I was much younger, but I grew more interested by fourteen, and my art teacher was impressed, and so finally I started sketching and grasping the art of drawing faces, landscapes and animals. If you want check out my artworks section, which I should be updating quite so often with a few sketches, paintings and cool banners dedicated to some great TV series like Stargate Atlantis, Smallville and Supernatural. Well poetry, I guess was not such interested in this subject but only when I was in high school, I was able to read some great poems...by Wilfred Owen, W. B. Yeats and of course William Wordsworth, and I almost forgot to mention Ted Hughes
